I’ve spent many summers admiring sandals from afar. My feet are often just too wide to fit into sandal straps, and I have a high instep — a double whammy that makes cute shoe shopping difficult. After pregnancy, I swear my instep became even higher (mark that down as things I didn’t know could happen). Thankfully, REEF offers shoes I can actually fit into. Reef Water Vista Higher Sandals

I love the Water Vista Higher sandals, which come in nice neutrals and gorgeous colors like lavender and red. The footbed is super cushy and despite being platforms, they’re very light. The strap isn’t made from stretchy elastic, but there’s enough give to allow wider feet to fit comfortably.

Though all the brand’s shoes are roomier than normal, I also tried the Vista Luxe Siaa, which is part of REEF’s wide-width collection. The footbed is wider, but I found the strap to be a bit tighter because of my high instep. Overall, the Water Vistas are a bit easier to stretch into for that reason, but normal instep havers shouldn’t have an issue.
