Bissell’s popular Little Green Machine has a built-in handle that gives it a slightly bag-like appearance. It’s not, but Bissell just made that fantasy closer to reality. Their new limited-edition collaboration with designer Susan Alexandra turns life’s messiest moments into joyful, hand-beaded bag charms, each one inspired by spills, smudges, and the everyday chaos we all know too well. The best part? 100% of proceeds support Bissell Pet Foundation and its mission to help pets through adoption, microchipping, crisis response, and more.
Bag charms are a trendy accessory this holiday season, and this surprise collab takes the trend to a new level: fashion meets function (with a cause to support). Clip them onto your purse, backpack, keys, or even the Little Green Mini, turning the best-selling portable deep cleaner cuter than ever. You can even grab the Little Green Mini Bundle, which includes the machine and one charm paired together for the ultimate gift. With Susan Alexandra’s signature playful aesthetic and Bissell’s iconic cleanup power, this collab is equal parts stylish and good-spirited.
Whether you’re shopping for a pet parent, a bag charm collector, a friend who embraces life’s little messes, or someone who loves supporting brands that give back, you’ll find two favorites below worth adding to your cart before they sell out.

This is for the pet lover whose camera roll is 98% photos of their dog. It includes the limited-edition Woof, There It Is beaded dog charm, plus the Bissell Little Green Mini, the portable deep cleaner that saves carpets during muddy-paw season. (A note: the dog charm is exclusive to this bundle.)
The Mustard Mayhem charm is the perfect gift for your spill-prone friend. This small beaded hot dog transforms a classic food into something genuinely cute and clips onto anything that needs a pop of personality. Pair it with a tote, handbag, backpack, or even gift it with their favorite condiments for a playful moment.

Chances are, your home videos are probably hidden away in your attic or basement, collecting dust. Who even owns a VHS player anymore? And that cord you need to connect your old camcorder to your computer? That disappeared a decade (or two) ago. We’re blessed — or cursed, depending on how you look at it — with the ability to record anything, in an instant, directly on our phones. Saved to the cloud, never to be lost or taped over. That’s great and all, but only for future events. Those tapes contain memories many are eager to relive. And, thankfully, there’s a way — without needing access to a working VHS player.
So long as you can find them, you can send your tapes to Legacybox for digitization. They make it easy, too: they send you a pre-labeled box with everything you need. You fill it with your stickered analog media — VHS tapes, reels, cassettes, old photo strips, printed pictures — seal it shut, and send it back. Once it arrives at their Tennessee digitization center, trained technicians attend to every asset individually, providing personalized updates along the way.

Once complete, your analog media will be mailed back to you, along with links to your digital copies. They live in the Legacybox Cloud, a separate service dedicated to storing digitized assets. Here, you can scroll through your photos, watch your videos, and generate links for others to do the same. From here, you can also download the files onto any device. As with most add-ons nowadays, it’s free for 30 days. After that, access is extra, but so long as you downloaded your files, you shouldn’t need it — unless you send in more tapes and photos. Plus, you can opt to receive your files on a disc set or a thumb drive.
Picking the Right Legacybox
Your options range from Starter (two items) to Vault (80 items). So, if you have just a few videos you want digitized, Starter could work. That said, most families need Family or higher. (Even a 20-item box fills up fast.) Right now, Legacybox is running its best sale of the year: 50% off every level. That means you can get 40 items digitized for the price it typically costs to convert 10.
The process typically takes 4-6 weeks, but this can vary depending on the number of inbound submissions. Expedited processing is an option, and that shortens the timeline to 3-4 weeks. Guaranteed rush will get you your digitized files in 10 business days. The time it takes to process your files also depends on the number of items you sent, their condition, and their format — Legacybox doesn’t restore photos or videos; it uploads them as they’re scanned, but it will dedicate additional time and resources to unique film or photo types.
As explained earlier, the Starter kit lets you send in two items. The Vault option allows up to 80. These boxes look the same, but they arrive with different numbers of pre-paid barcodes to stick to each item. This range enables families to choose the option that accounts for assets from all members — meaning that if you have 80 items and want to build your own accessible family archive, you can do so and split the cost, which might seem steep, evenly among all contributors.

Some people are hard to shop for, but gift-giving should be simple: get something that shows the recipient you thought of them and bought something, because they deserve to live more adventurously, to have their lives improved, to have a tool they use all the time upgraded, to have their new hobby invested in, or to spend more time doing less. There are countless reasons we give gifts, but it always feels good, no matter how much we spend. The gifts below are sourced directly from our editors — they’re what they’re buying or what they recommend when someone asks them for a recommendation.
Right now, you can save big on trendy gifts like the popular Ninja Creami, a countertop ice cream maker that whips up sweet treats — Blizzard-like ice cream blends, milkshakes, and more — in minutes. There are viral recipes all over social media, and, when you do the math, it’s cheaper than buying a pint of ice cream, especially if it’s Jeni’s. (Chocolate fixings might change that, if prices stay the way they are now.) And there are other of-the-moment gifts that, while costing you, end up saving their recipients money in the long run.
A set of Apple AirTags seems somewhat lame, but each one is essentially built-in insurance for your favorite stuff. Potentially another gift you’re getting them — like a new suitcase or an expensive wallet. They’ll thank you every time they think they’ve lost it. A new set of sheets is a smart way to spoil a homebody, saving on nights out. But it could potentially trigger an uptick in ordering in. Better sheets last longer, though, and Cozy Earth’s popular Bamboo Set is impressively soft, machine-washable, and backed by a warranty that protects against annoying defects like pilling.
Apple AirTag (4 Pack)
If you’re giving someone a really good gift, you don’t want them to lose it. I know it comes across as rude, but a pack of AirTags to ensure the recipient’s gift remains on them (or at least within an AirTag’s reach) is like bundling built-in gift insurance. Sure, if it gets stolen, you’re probably best off filing a police report instead of hunting down whoever has your stuff, but an AirTag can help you locate smaller items lost in a messy room or on the floor of your car. Managing Editor Evan Malachosky says he’ll definitely be getting a few of these for his wife ahead of planning their honeymoon next year.
According to staffer Megan Rogers, these patches are a “non-negotiable” part of her morning routine. “I start my day with Grace & Stella’s energizing under-eye patches… I pop them on while the coffee’s brewing, and they get right to work, de-puffing and boosting hydration, thanks to skin-friendly hyaluronic and amino acids.”
Though your local ice cream shop may have closed for the season, nothing is stopping you from having your favorite frozen dessert at home. The Ninja Creami, which is on sale now, makes making ice cream, sorbets, milkshakes, and more easy: prep your base, freeze it, and process it using one of the Creami’s seven settings. Mix in your favorite candy, blend up vegan or non-dairy ice cream, or quickly mix a milkshake in your favorite flavor.
Life is easier with a label maker. Luckily, you probably know quite a few people who wish their lives were, well, easier, too. Wireless, half the weight and size of the traditional label maker, and equipped with a German thermal print head for better print clarity, Phomemo’s D30 Label Maker lets you add instructions onto supplements, directions onto leftovers, and labels (duh) onto drawers and bins. A label maker may feel like something you stole from the office, but it’s a practical, time-saving (and life-organizing) gift that will pay dividends long after the holiday season is over.
Waking up is never easy, especially when it’s early. A good alarm clock can indeed sway a sworn-against morning person or someone striving to limit their phone use in the bedroom. According to Managing Editor Evan Malachosky, his wife hates this habit and wants to switch to a traditional alarm to curb their reliance on smartphones to wake up on time. This Loftie Alarm Clock combines a smart alarm with a night-light and sound machine, making for a straightforward device to help reduce phone use at night. (And it looks great on a nightstand, he adds.)
Senior Writer Bennett Kleinman loves his Roam checked suitcase in a custom colorway he picked out online. The brand offers a slew of customization options, ensuring, in Bennett’s case, no one else walked away with his luggage. “The moment my Roam luggage arrived, I knew I had found my future travel buddy. The suitcase is lightweight, secure, and has way more room inside than I know what to do with. But it’s also fun to own a colorful piece of luggage I designed myself, and I’m more than happy to brag whenever someone asks me where I got it. The question isn’t ‘will I buy more Roam luggage?’ — it’s, ‘what unique design will I choose next?’”
Few pillows are customizable unless you’re willing to A.) sew your own or B.) get one custom-made. Coop’s Original Crescent Pillow, however, lets you adjust the amount of fill inside for a softer or firmer feel, and comes in a proprietary, croissant-like shape that accommodates back- and side-sleepers. No more kinked neck or bunched up, uneven pillows preventing you from getting a good night’s rest.
If you’re unsure what to buy, it’s great to lean into luxury. Luxury, of course, conjures up the idea of expensive and extravagant, but there are those quiet luxury brands that tote craftsmanship, quality, and style over wallet-compromising price tags. With Quince, you can get the best of both worlds with affordable luxury goods, from leather accessories, silk statement pieces, and, our personal favorite, cashmere clothing. With sustainable, ethically sourced cashmere that won’t rough out or start piling away, this light but incredibly warm sweater remains a statement-maker in our winter wear collection.
You’ve probably seen this bottle everywhere, because aside from the behemoth Stanley Tumbler, it’s probably the most popular one. Available in countless color combos, the real benefit of the Owala over the Stanley is its two-in-one lid, which locks, but lets you quickly sip from a straw or tilt back the bottle to drink, well, like you’re chugging from a bottle. It’s a cute, largely spill-proof gift to get a friend or your perpetually dehydrated family member.
The fan-favorite Our Place Always Pan 2.0 is now under $100 — a rare find. This 10-in-one kitchen essential replaces multiple pans with its nonstick, toxin-free design while looking chic enough to double as decor. From searing to steaming, it’s the versatile cookware upgrade home cooks rave about.
Sure, a host loves to entertain, but what happens when all the guests leave? Well, everyone needs time to unwind. One way to decompress after a long night is to indulge in a relaxing self-care routine, complete with comfy clothes and slipping your feet into a pair of soothing slippers, like these sherpa ones from Bombas. Fluffy yet sturdy, they feature a memory foam footbed and a raised back heel to keep their feet comfortable and fastened with every step.
Bamboo sheets help regulate your temperature while you sleep, but they’re also luxuriously soft. This set from Cozy Earth won’t pull at the corners or pill, and it comes in a variety of colors and sizes.
How to Set Up Your Own Holiday Gift Wrapping Station

With the holiday season comes presents, and with presents comes wrapping paper, bows, tape, and scissors, all competing for space on your dining room table. While you’re getting out your holiday plates and Yuletide decorations, there’s one more area you may want to set up this season: a dedicated gift-wrapping station.
I used to keep all of my wrapping supplies tucked in a closet, bringing them out every few days during the holidays for marathon wrapping sessions. A few years ago, I began setting up a seasonal wrapping station in my basement from late October through the end of December. It was much more convenient to have all the supplies at hand whenever we needed them during the holidays. Whether you have space to dedicate to a permanent wrap station or set up a temporary spot like I do each winter, here are some must-have items for your wrap station.

Aneco 150-Pack Kraft Paper Cutout Gift Tags
Along with items to keep your wrap station organized, you’ll want to keep it well-stocked! Understated and elegant, these gift tags feature cutouts of reindeer, snowflakes, and Christmas trees. The tags are blank, allowing you plenty of room to write a short message to your recipient. Unlike shiny, sticker-style gift tags, kraft paper is slightly absorbent, making it a good surface for writing with gel pens or fine-tipped markers if you like to get fancy.
If, like me, you don’t have space for a dedicated wrapping area all year long, you’ll want a portable table. I set mine up in the fall and leave my wrap station stocked until the week after Christmas. Don’t overthink the table you choose. This basic folding table is long enough to hold supplies, plus most presents while you wrap. It’s sturdy, wipes clean easily, and folds in half with a handy carrying handle. You’ll likely end up using it throughout the year too when you need an extra surface.
This little cart packs a wide variety of supplies in a small space, letting you keep everything close at hand year-round. Wrapping paper slots on the back hold up to 16 rolls, spool and tool hooks keep scissors, gift bags, and ribbons organized, and drawers and shelves provide space for other supplies. The cart is on wheels, so it’s easy to move as well.
Keep bows, tags, and other delicate items from being crushed or lost with these sturdy, transparent storage boxes. They come in sets of two and are stackable, so you can clip them together or store them side-by-side.
These dividers are the perfect spot to store gift bags of varying heights and widths while still easily seeing what you have on hand. If you need more room, just connect several units together.
Now that you have your gift bags, you need tissue paper to go in them and you’ll be well-stocked with this 120-sheet package. The papers come in solid white, red, and green, plus red-striped and holiday tree patterns. They’re convenient for filling out gift bags, or for using as wrapping paper on their own.
A good pair of scissors can mean the difference between beautifully wrapped gifts and gifts that look like they were ripped by feral animals. If you have scissors already, make sure they’re sharpened so they won’t catch and will cut sharply and neatly. If you need new scissors, this basic Amazon pair stays sharp for a long time, has a comfortable grip, and can be used by right- or left-handed people.
Although it’s fun to use a variety of colors of gel pens and markers, plain black ink is the easiest to read. These fine-tipped pens write elegantly if you’d like to try your hand at calligraphy or other fancy writing. They’ll glide easily across the kraft paper gift tags, too.
This is one of those purchases that seems insignificant, but will change your gift-wrapping life! Having your tape weighted down in a dispenser means you only need one hand to grab a piece so you can hold the wrapping paper in place with the other. I wrestled for years with small, plastic tape dispensers that often broke and were easily lost. This simple little dispenser changed everything.
Those of us who store gift-wrapping supplies in a closet or under the bed for most of the year will appreciate this zippered wrapping paper storage bag. It holds up to 25 standard-sized rolls and it’s see-through, so you know what you have at a glance. It also has helpful carrying handles on the top and sides for convenient lifting.

Big Horn Outdoors 12” Wood Pellet Pizza Oven
A top-rated option at a fair price, Big Horn Outdoors’ compact wood pellet pizza oven can fit a pie 12 inches in diameter, which is more than enough to feed one (aka dad, if he’s greedy), but the internal top temperature (860 degrees Fahrenheit) is high enough to keep the pizza party rolling for the whole family, so long as you have pellets on hand.
Between mowing the lawn, playing softball, and grilling up delicious steaks, most dads have a jam-packed schedule. With so much going on, it can be easy for them to misplace their keys or wallet. Rudimentary fire pits are often more trouble than they’re worth, leading to messy coals and burnt patches of dead grass on the lawn. But that’s not the case with Solo Stove, a company that makes easy-to-use fire pits that are easy to clean. Good food is all about good seasoning, and one of the best ways to ensure tons of flavor is by using high-quality olive oil. Brighthand makes some of the best olive oil available, with standard extra virgin options as well as olive oils infused with garlic and basil. Dad will also love any of the more affordable olive oil options sold by Graza, which produces equally decadent oils despite the lower cost.
We wouldn’t be surprised if your dad is still using the same ratty wallet he’s had since his younger days. It’s time to help your dad out with some modern accessories, such as this sleek flip case from Bellroy. This hard-sided wallet keeps your cards and money safe and secure inside a hard shell, and features magnetic trap doors that easily open for when your dad needs to access its contents.
At the end of the day, dads deserve to relax, and one of the best ways to ensure his comfort is with a cozy pair of slippers. Glerups are some of the most comfortable and durable slippers around, providing plenty of warmth along with a sturdy sole so that your dad can even wear the slippers outside.
If your dad doesn’t already own a cast iron pan, then he needs one as soon as yesterday. One of the best pans available on the market that’s well worth the cost is the Cast Iron Always Pan from Our Place. If you’re looking for a more affordable option, then check out this Lodge cast iron pre-seasoned skillet. While dad is out back barbecuing the perfect meal, he’s going to need some salt to season that meat. There’s no better salt than these infused salts from Jacobsen Salt Co., which come in flavors such as black garlic and habanero. For a more traditional kosher salt at an affordable price, get your dad these Maldon kosher sea salt crystals.
